Turning The Tide

Peninsular Artists have organised an Exhibition called Turning The Tide, to be held at the Explosion! Museum in Gosport. The Exhibition includes work by artists from seven local Art Groups, Staff and Students from Crofton School, and award winning artists from the surrounding area. Proceeds from the Exhibition will be donated to The Plastic Ocean Charity.

Artists have been asked to produce work in reaction to the serious plastic pollution crisis now threatening our seas, coastal areas, all marine life, and ultimately, our own well being.

The Exhibition includes paintings, collage, and sculpture in many different media as well as video. Six Art Groups and the Staff and Students from Crofton School have been asked to produce work on canvases with the strict size limitations of 15cm X 15cm. In contrast, Peninsular Artists and other visiting artists have been given a wider scope for their expression.
